You want to improve your skin, but you’re at a loss as to what you should do. I know how that feels! We’ve all been in a bad place with our skin at one time or another. I thought I’d share with you some of the great ways I brought my skin back from the dark side. Here are 10 brilliant ways to improve your skin – enjoy!

  1. Eat More Fruit and Veg

More fruit and veg can only be a good thing. Eat vegetables as much as you can. There is no such thing as too many vegetables! Eating 1 or 2 portions of fruit per day. You don’t want to end up eating too much sugar, so be careful.

  1. Get Enough Slee

Make sure you’re getting enough sleep every night. Take a hot, relaxing bath before you get in bed to encourage sleep. You could even listen to some relaxing music to help you drift off.

  1. Change Your Pillowcases

Make sure you change your pillowcases regularly to avoid getting lots of bacteria on your face.

  1. Exercise

Exercise and you’ll drown your body in endorphins, which help to give you a healthy, happy glow.

  1. Always Use SPF

SPF protects us from the harmful environment, so don’t forget to use it every day. You can do this in the form of a sunscreen or find a moisturiser that contains it.

  1. Drink Lots of Water and Green Tea

Water and green tea will help your body to flush itself out. You’ll have more energy, and you may even speed up your metabolism to boot! Try to avoid drinks that aren’t water and green tea. Too much caffeine can stress your body out, and fizzy drinks are too sugary.

  1. Cleanse Properly

Don’t just use a makeup wipe and hope that’s enough. While it may be OK once in a while, cleansing with a proper foam cleanser is always best. Do a double cleanse for good measure if you feel you need it.

  1. Apply a Face Mask Every Week

Use a face mask every week to help draw out impurities and leave you feeling soft and smooth. By getting into a routine you should notice a better result.

  1. Visit a Professional

You may have problems that you can’t rectify alone. In that case, visit a professional and see if they can do anything for you. Many professionals use ABC lasers and similar products that can help to tighten and tone. Although there are products in the shops that can tighten, they won’t help a severe case.

  1. Dont Touch It

Touching your skin can make it greasy and spotty, so don’t. Consciously stop putting your hands and fingers on your face unless they are completely clean. You can’t see bacteria, but if you could you wouldn’t do it!
